DELOCATED: THE COMPLETE SEASONS ONE AND TWO

THE PLOT THUS FAR

Delocated is the story of a family in the witness protection program who gets their own reality show. Moved to New York City from the small town the government placed them in, they wear ski masks at all times to protect their identities, trying to live anonymous lives on camera while attempting to avoid being murdered by the Russian Mob.

WHAT WE THOUGHT

On the run from the Russian mob, “Jon” and his family enter the witness protection program and simultaneously agree to star in their own reality show. But concealing their identities means wearing ski masks and having their voices surgically altered.

It’s absolutely insane just how understated the insanity is. Because it’s completely serious, that’s the point. You just gotta be aware of the elements of the show, and how they carry each other to become an enriched fan of the show. But, at the same time, you can just lay back and let it carry you along without a thought and with it’s dead pan delivery, contrasting characters, you’ll find plenty of reasons to be entertained.

The DVD comes with deleted scenes and outtakes. You get a demo of the pre-pilot material plus some flip books that make use of the limited supplemental material. The commentaries are stuck somewhere in the ass end of the disc where you have to dig to find them. The A/V Quality is just good enough to past for standard definition quality. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase for fans of the show.
