THE PLOT THUS FAR
WHAT WE THOUGHT
Elvis and Tweeter are trying to escape the zombie outbreak. However, they keep running into trouble as they move along. What are two good ol’ boys from Florida supposed to do with themselves? The easiest answer is that they should die and end this movie rather quickly. Unfortunately, we don’t get that option. We will keep slugging through this schlock for nearly 90 minutes.
I might be expecting too much from a movie like this. The acting is obviously a little uneven because only the four main actors have real experience which always seems to be an issue with indie films. The secondary actors are noticeably less experienced but not enough to be a problem, they are really just scenery for the most part. The rest of the production is so well done that it’s shame the story is so generic.
The DVD comes with featurettes, deleted scenes, outtakes and a trailer. The A/V Quality is adequate for a cheap horror movie. The standard definition transfer does a good job showing off the kills. The Dolby track left a lot to be desired in the back channels. In the end, I’d recommend passing on it.
