Classes resume at Greendale Community College, as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases COMMUNITY: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON on DVD August 14th. The new school year brings our favorite group of social misfits back together for more outlandish behavior. Led by Joel McHale (TV’s “The Soup”), the ensemble cast includes Gillian Jacobs (TV’s “The Good Wife”), Danny Pudi (TV’s “Greek”), Yvette Nicole Brown (TV’s “Rules of Engagement”), Alison Brie (TV’s “Mad Men”), Donald Glover (TV’s “30 Rock”), Academy Award® winner Jim Rash (Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay, The Descendants, 2012) with Ken Jeong (The Hangover Part II) and Emmy Award® winner Chevy Chase (TV’s “Saturday Night Live,” TV’s “The Paul Simon Special”). John Goodman (TV’s “Roseanne”) guest stars as Vice Dean Laybourne.
Season Three brings new changes to the Greendale campus, as well as its students. Senor Chang now lives in the school’s air vents working as Greendale’s Campus Security Officer; Troy and Abed move in together; and a new Vice Dean is in town.
COMMUNITY: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON contains all 22 episodes on a three-disc DVD set and is loaded with bonus material, including fan-favorite spoof episodes full of mystery, crime and even some glee! Special features also include cast and crew commentary on every episode, “This is War: Pillows vs. Blankets” mockumentary featurette, “A Glee-ful Community Christmas” featurette, deleted scenes, and a gag reel.
