On September 17, Jay Leno will welcome Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers with special guest Eric Clapton to “The Jay Leno Show” (Monday-Friday, 10-11 p.m. ET) to continue the show’s unique musical pairings. They will play “Space Is The Place,” from Hornsby’s forthcoming Verve release, Levitate.
Hornsby, a 13-time Grammy nominee and three-time Grammy winner, adds to his accomplished body of work with the new album, set for release September 15. The release is Hornsby’s first studio album co-credited to his longstanding touring band The Noisemakers.
Hornsby’s 10 albums have sold over 11 million copies worldwide and have solidified his status as a highly sought after collaborator. In addition to his own work, Hornsby has appeared on over 100 records including releases by Bob Dylan, Don Henley, the Grateful Dead, Bob Seger, Chaka Khan, Bonnie Raitt, Willie Nelson and more.
“The Jay Leno Show” is the first network entertainment program to be stripped across primetime, marking a new era in television. The show will feature topical humor, newsmakers, celebrity guests, correspondents and more comedy in the 10 o’clock hour including Headlines and Jaywalking.
“The Jay Leno Show” is from Big Dog Productions in association with Universal Media Studios. Debbie Vickers is the executive producer.
