Todd Williams has created an impressive look at the rise of the Mega Church and its impact on the African American community. The film comes in at under an hour, but I’m not sure if I could handle anymore. Watching communities suffer and the country tremble under the Great Recession, these pigs abused their powers to take more from those that didn’t have it. It used to be that a certain guy would show up and start flipping tables when that stuff went down.
The DVD comes with deleted scenes as the special features. The A/V Quality is pretty strong for standard definition. I wish the Dolby Stereo track popped a little better, but it works. Oh well, I’d recommend a purchase.
