Is it really?
“Best Christmas Pageant Ever” continues what I talked about in the last review. It takes a premise that could barely keep a CW sitcom afloat while trying to tie it into the Holidays. I get that its wish fulfillment for the sad lot that wears kitten sweaters and dreams of “fill in the blank” Shonda Rhimes male lead coming to take them away. It’s vapid to the point of being insulting. Yet, the audience never seems to diminish. The DVD comes with no special features.
