Atom.com, the digital comedy network and COMEDY CENTRAL’s anchor brand for original digital content, announced it has signed a new deal with comedian Andy Dick and will premiere today the second season of his Internet talk show, “House Arrest With Andy Dick.” The snarky Webisodes feature comedian Dick interviewing his celebrity pals in his home, where he is detained for drug-related charges.
To pass time during his house arrest, Dick set up a no-frills talk show that includes a house band, researcher and interviews with his celebrity friends. Guests during this season’s five-episode run include writer, actor and producer Bob Odenkirk (“Mr. Show with Bob and David,” “Saturday Night Live”), writer, actor, producer and radio personality Adam Carolla (“The Hammer,” “Crank Yankers”), actress Sarah Rue (“Less than Perfect,” “The Big Bang Theory”), actor and writer Keegan Michael Key (“The Wild Bunch,” “Mad TV”) and comedian, producer, actor and director Tom Green (“The Tom Green Show,” “The Celebrity Apprentice”).
The second season of “House Arrest” premieres today, June 16, with an episode featuring Bob Odenkirk. Subsequent episodes will premiere the next four Tuesdays: June 23 (Adam Carolla), June 30 (Sarah Rue), July 7 (Keegan Michael Key) and July 14 (Tom Green). In coming weeks, “House Arrest With Andy Dick” will be distributed widely to consumers across Atom’s multiplatform distribution network, including the “Atom TV” series on COMEDY CENTRAL, mobile phone partners including Verizon and AT&T and other leading Internet destinations including iTunes, AOL, Dailymotion, xBox Live and many more.
