#ARTOFFLINE REVIEWED

“#Artoffline” is an hour long documentary about the Internet is changing art. You get a ton of talking heads debating what this means for art’s survival. Ultimately, there is no grand takeaway. That went quick, didn’t it? Were there any strong talking points about the nature of man and his ability to create beauty? Not really.

Hirsch, Malik and Sassoon make great points about the need to adapt with the rise of humanity’s technological reach, but that’s about it. What really stands out is the artists’ fascination with the ability to transmit work at a record rate. That being said, what we have here amounts to a rather lengthy TED Talk. If that’s your thing, then pick it up.
